Review: L’oreal Pure Clay Mask

One of my favourite things to do is snuggle up in my bed with a onesie and a face mask on. So when I saw a number of bloggers raving about the new L’oreal Clay Masks I knew it was something I had to try.

I decided to purchase the Glow Mask for obvious reasons – who doesn’t want to glow!

This mask claims to brighten and exfoliate – the red algae extract within it has brightening properties and it also contains exfoliating beads.

After my first use I noticed that my skin did feel very soft and I have noticed that my skin does look brighter and refreshed.

On the fence:
  • I found the mask disappointed as it did not dry on my face in the way i would expect a typical clay mask to dry – and that is my favourite thing about clay masks so it was a let down in that respect!
  • I may try rubbing the mask into my skin as if I were exfoliating next time to see if there are any additional benefits.
  • With an RRP of £7.99 I would say it is an overpriced face mask and you can definitely find something cheaper which can have a similar, if not better, effect on your skin.
  • It did leave my skin feeling very soft so it is something that I will continue using from time to time.

I’m still looking for a cheaper clay mask as good as this one!
